Thirty days can change a lot! In the last 30 days I have went from full time working mother of two to stay at home mother of two…
I don’t know if anyone else out there understands the shock to the system. I am used to working long hard hours, coming home and putting in more time and now..I am left with facebook, blogging, pinterest and of course job boards. I might just become a social media junkie with all my foodie, and creation posts. A DIY expert, a novelist or the ideas are endless. Maybe I could reach the masses with my Virtual Assistant idea.
I was worried as any person would be who just had their main source of income removed from them. Now I am excited. It really does put me in the position of deciding where to go from here. I have left it at the foot of the cross and have asked in prayer for a slight direction and in turn what the Lord has given me is the peace of mind that everything is going to work out perfectly within his plan for me. In 30 days not only has the Lord given me changes to deal with he has also shown me that I need to rely on my faith in him for he is forever faithful to me.
I am not a religious person, I am a faithful person. If the next 30 days bring as much change, and as much peace as the last 30 days, we will be ok.
Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one].2 Thessalonians 3: 3
That’s how every day feels in the rat race we call life. Whatever happened to stopping and smelling the roses, taking time for family, friends and life’s little moments?
This is the First of many to come. Insight into my life as a wife, mother and most of all as Me; a Canadian, a professional, a crafter, writer, reader and so many other things that I haven’t even tapped into. I wanted to be held accountable, I want to have inspiration and I think reaching out to people like myself will help. I want to create masterpieces out of every moment. I want to share with everyone my goals, my dreams and most of all my failures. I believe that failure is only a sign of growth, and opportunity for a second chance.
I was asked recently where do you see yourself in 5 years? At that precise moment, I honestly just wanted to change where I see myself tomorrow. So that is what I am doing, I am being accountable for my happiness!
What you will see here are things that will make me tick – crafting, baking, eating enjoying life with my family, friends and strangers. I look forward to your thoughts, your constructive criticism, your enthusiasm and ideas.
